This album is more spacey and synth pop than the song from the video. Long ethereal jams and hardly any percussion.

Panda Kid - Scary Monster Juice
Panda Kid is something else. Though the name sounds a lot like Panda Bear, there is no similarity between the two, except for one song. The rest of the album goes through 80s drums mixed with post punk mixed with garage/surf/noise. This album has it all. Cassette out on Already Dead Tapes but it's almost sold out. $6 don't miss it.

Catholic Spray are the new masters of reverb surf psych, if there ever was one before them. Taking catchy surf music 10 steps from where it was. One of my favorite albums and bands in a long time.

Soon to be my favorite band of 2012. Post punk mixed with psych rock from France. Sounds like it's members of Catholic Spray and if not, then they're just as good. Just not as harsh.
Suzi Analogue - NNXTAPE
Psychedelic soul. Hip hop and chillwave beats with real nice soul vocals that are like a nice version of Macy Gray.
Birdlips - Metaphorical Acid
Extremely catchy psych/folk. Fits well with New Weird America movement.
Ohbliv - RawOasis
Ohbliv to me sounds like if J Dilla and Flying Lotus were able to do a collaboration. Smooth, space soaked, good time beats.
The Clap - Hepatitis B-Sides
This has been a favorite of mine for a while. Garage surf punk with a noisy psychedelic attitude. Catchy, droney, greatness.
Mohave Triangles - Eternal Light of the Desert Plateaus
This one is some serious meditation music. Droney, spacey, ethereal goodness with a lo-fi sound and some sampled in vocals thrown in for good measure.
MMOSS - i
MMOSS play some great psychedelic music. This is acid rock and psychedelic music like it was played in the 60s, only it's not. What's even better is they just give it away, though you should buy it or give them your money.
