Donald Byrd
This album Black Byrd came out in 73 and it's this giant funky, psychedelic, jazzy pimp walk from beginning to end. Try to imagine Sly & the Family Stone sitting down with Parliament and krautrockers Can rewriting the soundtrack to Shaft as seen through the eyes of Miles Davis.

Broken Cups - Slaves Of The Grave
Broken Cups play some great post punk noise rock industrial mayhem music. Fuck trying to label this album, go listen to it.

Jungle Hop! - 13th Session
Jungle Hop! are another great French garage punk band. These guys play a mix of almost post-punk like gunk punk with a psychedelic lean. I'm realizing that French garage's must be much gloomier than American ones. In America we have happy poppy riffs dominating the scene with the occasional punker slipping in but France is pumping out these gritty garage rats that bring out a much darker side of garage rock. Bands like Catholic Spray, La Secte Du Futur, Regal, Le Pecheur, Dusty Mush, and now Jungle Hop! All I can say is more please. Everything free on their bandcamp.

N.213 - FXGGXTRY & Voxappella Series Vol. 1
This tape rules. Noisy no wave post punk goodness. Get the free download.
This one is more of an odd experimental vocal tape. Still cool stuff, though. Meditation music on the first track. The second is a super blown out noise track. Great contrast.

Thee Holy Ghosts - S/T EP
Catchy 60s style garage rock with more of the original trashy garage rock sound than the Ty Segall/Oh Sees version of neo-garage. Buy this cassette for only $3.50 or download for free on their bandcamp. I got #37/50 so only 13 left.
